Pactor III firmware UPGRADE
NOTE: While GMN offers Pactor III as an option on all new modems at time of purchase, you may also move up to Pactor III at any time by purchasing this upgrade. This is a software plus license that enables Pactor III on older modems or on modems that were not purchased from GMN.
Pactor-III achieves a real-world 4x increase in throughput over Pactor II. Weather maps that take 7-8 minutes to download with a modem only licensed to operate in the Pactor II mode take two minutes or less to download with P III - saving time and battery power.
